^Yup, pareho na ulit ang Hymn ng Bene at Beda... Nung una Herald the Bedans na talaga ginagamit nga Bene, tapos nung 1997 pinalitan ng Hail! Alma mater St. Benedict, pero binalik ulit ngayon dahil nagpalit ng pangalan...
About naman dun sa athletes dormitory...
Sabagay, nakita ko nga nung pumunta akong sports complex, papasok na ako ng Rosendo Herrera Hall, napatingin ako sa taas may aircon na yung quarters ng mens basketball, at hindi lang basta box type na aircon, yung malaking aircon. Before kasi it was a mere room with beds, CR and locker room, pero ngayon refurbished na , and I can see varsity players(mens basketball) na Meal ticket na lang ang ginagamit nila sa pagbili sa Cafeteria. Worth it naman kasi nananalo na ulit ang Bene sa basketball...

Bene's a bit big. May hill, kung san parati kaming nagtatakbuhan before hanggang madapa. hehehe May creek pero lang tubig hehehe May sariling mundo hehehe Nothing fancy about it. Ok din ang chapel, aircon, Here's the original school seal. Those were the days. GS uniform namin before was a yellow shirt with a very big school patch at the middle. hehehe Circa 1984 hehehe  I would have preferred they retained this seal, San Beda Alabang lang ilagay. Maganda yung diagonal patch sa blouse ng girls eh. |

And like what was stated before there are no real classrooms for the GS. One big hall lang with blackboards and lockers as dividers. So kung magulo kunwari section namin, mabubulabog ang buong level. hehehe

It is not newsworthy that Law students (regardless of what school they're studying in) are studious. Law school is a different world. Ika nga ng isang prof sa College of Law (Mendiola), "I will make sure your stint in the CAS (Mendiola) is high school." si sir omaña ba to ha chip? |

The creekside of Bene will soon be transformed into park, filled with bricks na may pangalang naka-engrave called the "Red Lion Square" parang "Plaza Bedista" ng Beda. Magkasabay ang Bene at Beda na simulan yung plan for that thing pero wala pang nangyayari... How about dun sa Beda, nasimulan na ba yung Plaza Bedista dyan? Gagawin ni Dom Venard na parang 'Nature Park' yung creek. Diba Schwimmy parang gubat yung lugar na yun? Hahaha!
Clarence, anong course mo sa Bene? Bene High Alumni ka ba? Are you familiar with the Publications office sa may loob OSA Complex/Students Center? Dun me lagi tambay, busy sa pagawa ng school paper..

^ yeah magubat nga. Back nung GS kami, hilig namin magtatakbo dun sa may creek na yun. Saka mga classmates ko nun sigaw ng sigaw na may mga bayawak dun... wala naman akong nakita. come to think of it mga tuko lang ata yun hehehe
Regarding kay Dom Vernard, I'm seeing what good he has done for Bene. Daming developments in less than a year pa lang. I won't be surprised nga mas alaga ang mga athletes ng Bene kaysa sa Beda. Sad to say his counterpart sa Beda isn't as a "go getter" as he is. He was the one responsible for all those "San Beda College Alabang" car stickers that I see as far as Ortigas. It's what you call branding, I suggested to him make car stickers na "San Beda" nalang para masama naman ang "Main."
Now with all this good things happening to Bene, this school will be crucial in boosting San Beda's image.

BA Psych course ko! I'm not a Bene High Grad... Colegio San Agustin-Makati, tapos Beda Manila ng First year. When we transferred from Manila to Paranaque, lumipat me ng Bene. My Dad is a Hardcore Bedista, Dun sya grad ng HS & College kaya gusto nya Benedictine schools papasukan ko... Kilala na kita Mr. EricBedaAlabang! You are the 'Bigman' sa office ng Bedan Herald Laging may dalang camera! Im sure nakikita mo ko tumatambay sa Student Executive Council (SEC), ang katabing office nyo... Ako yung matangkad na guy na natambay minsan dun! Psych ang Course ko! Hahaha! Pupuntahan kita mamaya sa office nyo! Hahaha! |

For four years that I have studied in San Beda; driving from the south to Mendiola almost everyday. With all the traffic, rallies, congestion, pollution and Recto, never did it entered my mind to go back to Bene. If given the chance, I would gladly do that again. |

To EricBedaAlabang: Wag mo naman sana ikalat sa Bene yung Jordan Herrera, kasi sa Beda lang ako natatawag na ganon :roll: . It was the time na nasa limelite pa si Jordan at nagkaroon ako ng GF na taga La Consolacion. My Gf's friends also from La COnsolacion called me "Papa Jordan" :x , wala lang, hehehe . Ikaw lang sa Bene tumawag sakin ulit ng Jordan Herrera :wink: ... To Schimmy: It's very nice to look back from your roots, kahit ako napunta pa rin ako minsan sa mga past schools ko like SAn Agustin, Beda Mendiola... Iba kasi yung feeling kung nakikita mo yung progression ng ALma Mater mo, It's very nice to reminisce such things... Inform kita kung may big event ulit sa Bene :lol: . |

Ei, member ba si Dexter Tan(San Beda[Mendiola] Cheerleading Assn. Captain) dito sa forum na to? Kailangan na kasi namin malaman yung ibang cheers and hindi ma-contact ni James nuber mo... By the way, Dex if you are a member of this forum, reply ka dito kasi kailangan na naming malaman yong ibang cheers na hindi pa namin alam. Naituro na namin ni Raine sa Pep Squad yung ibang cheers and dances like San Beda Go go, Go San Beda Fight & Indian yell. Hindi kasi kami makapunta ng Beda tuwing Saturdays kasi we(Raine) have saturday classes, Pero kung meron pa kayong practice ng Sat or even weekdays, pede kami humingi ng excuse letter sa prefect... Thanks bro! More power San Beda Cheerleading Assn.!
